Buckwheat plays an important role in modern agricultural production and is one of the main cereal crops in Ukraine. Buckwheat products have a high nutritional value and are easily absorbed by the human body. Buckwheat processing is the core business of our company.In general, buckwheat production is an important component of the food industry. Buckwheat is a valuable and essential healthy food product, with high taste and nutritional properties.

Barley is one of the oldest cultivated plants. There are winter and spring forms of this grain. Spring barley is about 2,000 years older than winter barley. For production purposes, we are interested in spring barley. We use it to make pearl barley and barley groats.

Wheat is a food crop that is highly valued in many countries around the world. It is divided into many varieties and sorts of cereal. There are both spring and winter wheat. We are interested in spring wheat of both durum and soft varieties.

For a separate line of our production of “Artek Wheat Groats”, we are interested in durum wheat grain of the “Durum” variety with a high protein content.

Peas are widely grown in fields as a leguminous plant. Pea products contain protein compounds and many vitamins that are of great value to the human body. There are two types of peas: food peas (yellow, of different tinctures) and fodder peas (green, of different tinctures). We are interested exactly in food peas for processing.

Chickpeas (Cicer arietinum) have only recently become popular in Ukraine, although they have been grown for thousands of years in the Middle East. It has a nutty flavour, is a rich source of vitamins, minerals, protein and fibre, and can be an excellent substitute for meat. White-seeded chickpea varieties are mainly used for consumption.

Common beans are a popular garden crop and are grown everywhere. Their value lies in the fact that they are rich in protein, which contains all the essential amino acids. Beans are widely used in cooking. Their colour can vary – pale yellow, red or deep purple.

Sorghum is a member of the cereal family and when grown in the field, it looks a bit like grain corn. It is an important crop and is grown all over the world. Sorghum has a number of uses, including food. It is a versatile and healthy grain, rich in carbohydrates, moderate in protein but low in lysine, and low in fat. The gluten-free market could be a real opportunity for sorghum.
